Apostille or authentication 15 working days
Birth registration 8 working days
Certificate, printout or source document  8 working days
Add a parent’s details to a birth record 15 working days
Remove a parent’s details from a birth record 15 working days
Name change  15 working days
Update sex marker on birth certificate 2 months
Investigate a potential error on a record 15 working days
Pre-adoptive birth certificate (your own) 1 month
Pre-adoptive birth certificate (someone else's) 10 working days
Status of children search 1 month

Working days do not include weekends or public holidays. The timeframes above do not include delivery times for certificates.
