Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority
The Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority (ARLA) helps New Zealanders by looking into decisions made by district licensing committees and local authorities.
They:
- review decisions about licences to sell alcohol and to issue manager's certificates
- hear appeals against provisional local alcohol policies
- publish a list of all active licences and manager's certificates in New Zealand.
ARLA is supported by the Ministry of Justice.
