Human Rights Review Tribunal

The Human Rights Review Tribunal is an independent body that can review decisions about human rights, privacy, and health and disability issues.

Before making a claim to the tribunal you must first make a complaint either to the Human Rights Commission, the Privacy Commissioner or the Health and Disability Commissioner.

The tribunal hears claims about issues including:

  • discrimination
  • sexual harassment
  • racial harassment
  • privacy, and
  • health and disability.
